Buying or selling property can be a stressful and frustrating experience. We couldn’t be more pleased with choosing Eric to guide us through the sale of our condo. We new going into this process that our condo was aged with minimal updating. His market knowledge helped set a reasonable price point for listing to generate traffic that didn’t undercut the property’s base value. His marketing strategy was impressive including virtual staging of our vacant unit and targeting markets outside our local area. We had a viable contract within 10 days. Then the “fun” began. The buyer’s lender requested unimaginable amounts of information including years of reports from our property management company, and Eric diligently assisted the buyer’s realtor in acquiring. After weeks of back and forth communication, necessitating an extension of our closing date, the situation was eventually resolved with approval from buyer’s lender. Additionally, the inspection flagged the outdated electric panel (an issue that Eric advised us about before we even listed). While the panel was replaced with ample time prior to closing, we had difficulties with permit clearance just days before closing. Eric went above and beyond with calls to the county and electrician to get us cleared for closing.
Throughout the entire selling process, Eric made himself physically available for the multiple appointments and inspections so we didn’t have to leave work to accommodate. He did a walkthrough of our unit prior to inspection and found an issue with the disposal in kitchen sink ( it was “stuck”), which he himself corrected. His persistence in solving problems was exemplary, and his communication with us throughout the selling process was prompt and thorough.
We’ve used other realtors in the past, and always came away from those experiences feeling like they were simply going through the motions and not really working FOR us. We cannot say enough about Eric’s representation, work ethic, and diligence.
